Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
1 scoop (about 25g) chocolate protein powder
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt (or dairy-free alternative)
1 teaspoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
Pinch of salt
Optional: 1 tablespoon mini chocolate chips for topping
Instructions
In a jar or container with a lid, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir the dry ingredients together well.
Add the milk, Greek yogurt, and maple syrup to the dry mixture.
Stir everything thoroughly until the protein powder and cocoa powder are fully incorporated and no dry clumps remain.
Seal the container and place it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
In the morning, check the consistency. If it is too thick, add a splash more milk.
Top with mini chocolate chips or other desired toppings before eating. This is a great option for quick breakfast meal prep.
Notes
For a dairy-free chocolate oats version, use almond or soy milk and a plant-based yogurt.
If you prefer a peanut butter flavor, add 1 tablespoon of peanut butter with the wet ingredients.
