Ingredients
Scale
2 bottles (750 ml each) chilled dry champagne or prosecco
1 cup orange juice, chilled
1 cup cranberry juice, chilled
1/2 cup brandy or white rum (optional)
1/4 cup sugar
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
1 cup fresh raspberries
1 cup fresh blueberries
Instructions
In a large punch bowl, combine the chilled orange juice, cranberry juice, and brandy or rum, if using. Stir well.
Add the sliced lemon and orange to the juice mixture. Let it sit for 15 minutes to allow the fruit flavors to infuse.
Just before serving, gently pour in the two bottles of chilled champagne or prosecco. Do not stir vigorously, as this will flatten the bubbles.
Add the sliced strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries to the punch bowl.
Serve immediately in glasses filled with ice.
Notes
For a make-ahead option, mix the juices and spirits 4 hours in advance. Add the champagne and fresh berries immediately before guests arrive.
If you prefer a sweeter punch, dissolve the sugar in a small amount of warm water first before adding it to the juice mixture.
Use frozen berries instead of fresh ones to help keep the punch cold without diluting the flavor.
