- 1 package (17.3 ounces) frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 cup brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped (optional)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (optional)
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a mini-muffin pan.
- Unfold the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface. Cut each sheet into 12 equal squares.
- Press one puff pastry square into each cup of the mini-muffin pan, gently pressing it up the sides.
- Brush the edges of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
- Place a cube of brie cheese into each pastry cup.
- Top the brie with a spoonful of cranberry sauce.
- If using, sprinkle with chopped rosemary and orange zest.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and puffed, and the brie is melted.
- Let the bites cool in the pan for a few minutes before carefully removing them.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- These bites can be assembled a few hours ahead and refrigerated. Bake just before serving.
- For a different flavor, try fig jam or pepper jelly instead of cranberry sauce.
