Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 large flour tortillas
  • 6 small tostada shells
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5 minutes, or until sauce thickens.
  3. Warm the large flour tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
  4. Layer ingredients onto one side of each large tortilla: start with a smear of nacho cheese sauce, then seasoned beef, a tostada shell, shredded lettuce, chopped tomato, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, and a dollop of sour cream.
  5. Fold the tortilla over the filling, creating a hexagonal shape by folding in the sides.
  6. Heat a lightly oiled skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  7. Place the folded crunchwraps seam-side down onto the hot skillet.
  8. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Serve immediately.
