You need this incredibly easy and creamy chocolate dip recipe. It takes only five minutes to make a silky smooth dessert dip perfect for strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows, or graham crackers. This is the best chocolate dip for fruit and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup milk (or heavy cream for richer texture)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Place the softened cream cheese into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Beat the cream cheese with an electric mixer until it is smooth and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the powdered sugar and cocoa powder, mixing on low speed until just combined. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
  4. Add the milk and vanilla extract. Increase the mixer speed to medium-high and beat until the dip is completely smooth, creamy, and glossy. This should take about 2 minutes.
  5. Serve the chocolate dip immediately with your favorite dippers, such as fresh strawberries, pretzels, cookies, or marshmallows.

Notes

  • For a richer, thicker dip, substitute the milk with heavy cream.
  • If you want a hot chocolate dip flavor, warm the milk slightly before adding it to the mixture.
  • You can chill this dip for 30 minutes if you prefer a firmer texture, but it is best served at room temperature.
