Create fun and festive Halloween pretzel snacks like mummies, pumpkins, and bats using candy melts and sprinkles. These no-bake treats are perfect for parties and easy for kids to help assemble.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bag pretzel rods
  • 1 bag white candy melts
  • 1 bag orange candy melts
  • 1 bag black candy melts
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles (eyes, orange jimmies, black nonpareils)
  • Black edible marker

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt white candy melts according to package directions (microwave or double boiler).
  3. Dip pretzel rods about two-thirds of the way into the melted white candy. Let excess drip off.
  4. Place dipped pretzels on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Immediately add candy eyes to the white coating to create mummy faces. Use a black edible marker to draw a mouth if desired.
  6. Melt orange candy melts. Dip pretzels about two-thirds of the way.
  7. Add orange jimmies or sprinkles to the wet coating.
  8. For pumpkin stems, you can add a small amount of green candy melts or draw a stem with a black edible marker.
  9. Melt black candy melts. Dip pretzels about two-thirds of the way.
  10. Add black nonpareils or sprinkles.
  11. For bat wings, you can pipe small wing shapes with black candy melts onto the parchment paper, let them set, and then attach them to the dipped pretzel.
  12. Allow all pretzels to set completely before serving.

Notes

  • You can also use candy coating wafers for melting.
  • Experiment with different sprinkle combinations for unique designs.
