Scale
1 pound ground breakfast sausage
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the ground sausage, Bisquick baking mix, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until everything is thoroughly combined.
Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
Place the balls on an ungreased baking sheet.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
For spicy sausage balls, use hot breakfast sausage.
These sausage balls can be frozen before baking. Place them on a baking sheet and freeze until solid, then transfer to a freezer bag. Bake from frozen, adding a few extra minutes to the baking time.
Serve with a variety of dipping sauces like honey mustard, ranch, or BBQ sauce.
