Make this melt-in-your-mouth Caesar chicken for a simple, creamy weeknight dinner. This baked chicken recipe uses common ingredients for a flavorful meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup creamy Caesar dressing
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for topping
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil or nonstick spray.
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides with garlic powder and black pepper.
  3. In a bowl, mix the Caesar dressing, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until the mixture is smooth.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the prepared baking dish. Spread the creamy Caesar-Parmesan mixture evenly over the top of each chicken breast, coating them completely.
  5. Sprinkle a little extra Parmesan cheese on top of the coating.
  6. Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the topping is golden brown.
  7. Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges if desired. This recipe is a great alternative to using meal planning services.

Notes

  • For a crispier top, place the dish under the broiler for the last 2 to 3 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
  • If you are watching your fat intake, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream in the sauce mixture.
  • Serve this chicken with roasted vegetables or buttered noodles for a complete meal.
